this song took me AGES to get it right. I had so many breakdowns in the car because I thought I couldn't hit these notes, but practice makes such a huge difference. I was lucky enough to be able to perform it live three times at the end of December, and will be able to again in March. I am unbelievably excited. there's nothing quite as exhilarating as performing live in front of an audience.
I recorded this song in my sister's new house in a room that has been completely gutted and redone. I was singing next to a table saw, a ladder, and buckets of paint, but the echo in the room from the lack of sound-absorbing objects was really all I was there for. THANKS SIS AND Z I OWE YOU GUYS!! but the point of this paragraph was to let you know that all of the echo you hear is natural and if you want proof I will send you the raw video straight from my camera. it was AWESOME.
