Landing a plane on a moving train isn’t a standard engineering brief. But when Red Bull athlete Dario Costa called, the challenge was clear: he needed ultimate control inside the cockpit, and a way to practice flying through a train’s turbulent wake.

Our solution? We 3D-scanned him and built a bespoke Kevlar seat from scratch so he could feel every movement of the plane. Then our Chief Development Driver, Miroslav Zrnčević, took the Nevera R to the runway, driving at exactly 140 km/h in reverse to perfectly simulate the train’s turbulence.
