THEME : A dark version of Beauty and the Beast.
The Beast (the villain/dark!hero) is obsessed with his beauty (the heroine) and keeps her as his prisoner. A dark/possessive/stalkerish relationship.
The "Mummy" movies were and always are big part of my life, these movies are just amazing, and I always loved Imhotep, his story broke my heart ;__;
First, I had to do my part with Nuada (Hellboy) and Kida but I felt much more inspired with the mummy finally :)
For the plot : In the Ancient Egypt, Kida was a slave. Having lost the fight for her freedom against Princess Nefertiti, Kida had no choice but to obey.
She was given to Imhotep (an ancient Egyptian priest, the high-priest of Osiris, and the adviser to Seti) as a gift by the Pharaoh Seti himself and his daughter Nefertiti. Imhotep was madly in love with her, so mad that even after his death, he came back for her with the help of dark magic, to offer her a world plunged by plagues and curses.
