On her debut EP "In the Bleak Midwinter", out on Agora Records, Iman Janes delivers dark, club-oriented techno built on finely crafted textures and hypnotic movement. Through this record, Iman Janes evokes a phase of reconstruction, a journey from the bleak winter toward the rebirth of summer, moving through cold, heavy atmospheres before opening toward the light.
The EP opens with "Aligned", charged and driving, followed by "When the Fire Sleeps", a playful collaboration with Sicion. The title track "In the Bleak Midwinter" anchors the record, before a powerful remix from Kaltblume closes it on its peak.
