Iβve been trying to tell this story for years, and now Iβve finally found the courage to create from a place I used to hide from.My intention with art has always been to connect, and hopefully make people feel something. This project explores my near-death experience through hallucinations, fractured memories, and distorted reality. It traces my psychological descent into sepsis-induced delusion and the reconstruction of identity through sound, body, and perception. This EP is the first project I co-produced, composed, and recorded, born from my experience surviving sepsis in 2020 and my journey of healing and self-expression. Moving to Italy in 2021 reconnected me with my roots and reshaped my approach to writing and art.
I hope this EP can encourage people to see their past not as something that
defines them, but as a transition, one that reveals what truly sparks something within, even
if it takes years to uncover. Time isnβt always linear or concrete; it unfolds when weβre ready.
Thank you for all your support. Let me know what you think of the EP.
Love, G

Information about Sepsis:
Sepsis is a serious condition in which the body responds improperly to an infection. The infection-fighting processes turn on the body, causing the organs to work poorly. Sepsis may progress to septic shock. This is a dramatic drop in blood pressure that can damage the lungs, kidneys, liver and other organs. As sepsis worsens, vital organs, such as the brain, heart and kidneys, don't get as much blood as they should. Sepsis may cause atypical blood clotting. The resulting small clots or burst blood vessels may damage or destroy tissues. Most people recover from mild sepsis, but the mortality rate for septic shock is about 30% to 40%. Also, an episode of severe sepsis raises the risk for future infections.

Psychological Problems After Sepsis: Post-sepsis syndrome (PSS) is a condition that affects up to 50% of sepsis survivors. It includes physical and/or psychological long-term effects, such as: hallucinations, panic attacks, flashbacks, nightmares, decreased cognitive (mental) functioning, loss of self-esteem, depression, mood swings, difficulty concentrating, memory loss, PTSD (Post-traumatic stress disorder).

PMC (PubMed Central) Β βIn the United States, itβs believed that many sepsis survivors are discharged from the hospital with a new, undefined combination of cognitive impairment and physical disabilities such as sensory and emotional problems, which has an impact on work and challenging activities β¦ Compared to the average population, sepsis survivors report lower QoL and are less likely to return to work and other activities after being discharged from the hospitalβ

What is urosepsis?
Urosepsis is when a urinary tract infection (UTI) leads to sepsis. Sepsis occurs when your body has a life-threatening response to an infection. Itβs a medical emergency that requires prompt treatment because it can lead to tissue damage, organ failure or death. Many different conditions can cause sepsis.Β
How does a UTI turn into urosepsis?
Left untreated, the infection continues to spread through your urethra, bladder and, ultimately, your kidneys. This can lead to sepsis.Sepsis is your bodyβs dangerous reaction to an infection. When you have an infection, your immune system works to try to fight it. But sometimes, your immune system stops fighting the infection and starts damaging your normal tissues and organs, leading to widespread inflammation throughout your body.
