Toyota’s Woven City.
A real city, with real people already living there, built as a living test course for the future of mobility.
From autonomous vehicles and robotics, to AI, personal mobility, future air travel, and even how people interact with coffee shops, this isn’t just about cars anymore.
It’s Toyota’s vision for what cities could become.
I also got the chance to explore Toyota’s incredible history, from the world’s first automatic loom that started it all, to legendary cars like the Lexus LFA, experience the Shinkansen, visit the Toyota Automobile Museum, stay at the incredible Fuji Speedway Hotel overlooking the race circuit, and of course take in everything Japan has to offer.
Whether Woven City becomes the blueprint for future cities or simply an ambitious experiment, one thing is certain…
I’ve never visited anywhere quite like it.
