Before HoltonWise grew into the multi million dollar real estate brokerage, investment, and property management company it is today, this is where it all started. Back in the early days, I was personally collecting rent checks from tenants, writing receipts, and keeping track of everything on a board pinned to the wall of my 900 sq ft home. No fancy systems, no massive staff, just the daily grind of building a real estate business from the ground up in Cleveland, Ohio. Over the years, HoltonWise expanded its operations, helping investors from California, New York, and across the country buy, sell, and manage rental properties throughout Northeast Ohio. Along the way, we built HoltonWiseTV, our media platform where we share real estate investing education, property tours, evictions, and behind-the-scenes footage of the rental property business. But before all of that, there was this room, a pile of rent checks, and a whole lot of hustle. Every business starts somewhere. This is where ours began.
