I finally took my 2023 F-150 Raptor to an off-road park.
We headed out to the Gorman off-road park in California to explore the trails and see what a completely stock Raptor can actually handle. I’m still brand new to off-roading, so this trip was mostly about learning the basics and figuring out what the truck (and driver) are capable of.
The park has beginner, intermediate, and advanced trails, so we started with the easier green trails… but things quickly got more interesting than expected.
Along the way we discovered water crossings, rocky climbs, tight trails, and some obstacles that definitely tested my confidence driving a full-size truck through them.
Even without airing the tires down or installing the off-road gear I’ve ordered, the Raptor handled way more than I expected.
This is just the beginning — I’m planning a lot more off-road adventures with this truck.
