I Tested $500 of the Newest 65W Multi-Port Chargers of 2026 — My Top 3

MobileReviewsEh Review 7 days ago

Description

I spent $500 buying every new 65W multi-port charger worth testing in 2026. I tested them all, even running them against my last winner, to find the three actually worth your money. Below are my Top 3 GaN chargers for both solo and multi-port charging.

To build this list, I made specialized rigs that measure how much power each port actually delivers, how well each charger holds up with every port loaded at once, and how hot it runs while charging. Again: I'm a reviewer, not an influencer.

TL:DW Top 3 GaN Chargerss

🥉 #3 — UGREEN Nexode 65W (~$30)

-One USB-C, one USB-A, plus a built-in cable
-Couldn't consistently pull 65W from the C port; the cable tops out at 60W
-Loaded: main port gave 45W and dropped the 9W port to 5W (55W total)
-Best on the electrical side: coolest (46°C), steadiest voltage, most efficient (~88%), lowest power density
-The catch is size: biggest and heaviest here (159cc, 194g), basically a brick
-Best if it lives on your desk and never moves

🥈 #2 — AOHI Youth GaN+ (~$35)

-Two USB-C, one USB-A
-A true 65W solo charger
-Loaded: same as UGREEN, 45W main and 9W dropped to 5 (55W total)
-Mid-pack size (107cc, 140g) but slim and easy to live with
-Voltage rock-steady, efficiency ~86%
-Only knock is heat: runs a touch warm (55°C) despite roomy internals
-The safe all-rounder that does everything well and nothing badly
-Also the fastest at charging a single phone

🥇 #1 — Baseus Picogo (~$30)

-Two USB-C, one USB-A
-Main port gives the same 45W as everyone, but it's the only charger that held my second device at a full 9W instead of dropping to 5 (59W total, closest to 65 anyone got)
-Means a real laptop + phone + accessory at once
-Smallest and lightest multi-port charger tested (65cc, 116g)
-Trade-off: highest power density, so it runs hottest (62°C) and least efficient (~85%)
-You accept a warmer charge for true dual-charging in a bag-friendly size

IF IT'S JUST YOUR PHONE

Every charger landed within a few percent (10.6–11.5 Wh); any of them charges a phone just fine
-AOHI is fastest by a hair
-Apple 40W Dynamic: actually delivers 59W despite the name, most efficient (89%), runs cool (51°C), tiny (57cc, 80g); downsides are Apple price and a misleading label
-Anker Nano 45W: smallest, lightest thing tested (39cc, 61g), 45W is plenty for any phone; runs hot (60°C)
-Anker Nano (with screen): same charger plus a live wattage + battery % display; a couple degrees warmer (62°C)
