Howdy y'all, long time no see! I have a montage/vlog for you!
I recently experienced the most fulfilling and most incredible 9 days of my life so far, with some of the most amazing people. We traveled to Panama as a Global Medical Brigade, and worked alongside the rural communities of La Venta, La Candelaría, and La Yeguada in Coclé. During my time spent in these communities, I experienced the true simplicity of human connection, learned that sharing laughter far surpasses the use of words, and witnessed the lasting impact of public health projects and education. Our literal effect may have been small, but both parties gained an immense amount of knowledge about one another that just can’t be taught. To everyone who helped me get there- thank you. You supplied me and the communities of Coclé with a phenomenal opportunity, and I am feeling so thankful.
It's things like this that make me so frickin excited to pursue a career in public health and medicine.
