Description
Today I'm reclaiming my blacksmith shop from nature to forge a bizarrely effective throwing spear out of good ol' 5160 spring steel. I made the shaft from a regular old mop handle from Menards, and fixed the blade in with some black battle cord sleeve material. I ended up using Theraband Gold for the propulsion, and man does this thing put a wallop on a dead tree. In the end, the spear can be thrown near 150ft by a totally untrained thrower (me).
