Oh boyyyy! The stories this video could tell. haha Not only was the preparation for my birthday party some of the most fun I've ever had, the birthday turned out amazing!! But also...this video is very long in the making. I somehow managed to endure a different health issue at every stage of production which is why this video is so late. Everything seems fine right now, so don't worry, but i just gotta release this video and let it be what it'll be and put my energy someplace else. haha This has been looming over me too long.
But since it's so late, i can tell you, my friends REALLY REALLY liked the paintings! Like...i thought I was just doing a little fun treat, but the reactions were so wonderful and I'm so grateful to my friends for their love. I showed them a picture of the quilt before they opened their painting and EVERY SINGLE ONE was able to guess which was theirs. (even the simpler floral ones) I was shocked! But also honored. haha So each of the canvases has now found their home with my friends and I'm gonna get a print of the quilt to keep for myself. So every time I look at it I know they're safe with my loved ones. Probably my favorite work of art to date because of what it means to me.
