Description
I run a 10 minute thermal torture test on my power modded 2025 XMG Neo 16 RTX 5090 laptop GPU resulting in temps staying below 74C on the GPU below 80C on the CPU. The original creator of this mod is actually running 300W through a similar laptop to the Neo 16. Yeah, I'd say the XMG Neo 16 can easily handle this level of wattage since it maintains great temps and was electrically designed to handle this level of wattage.
I am hoping to make a video about how I did this and show full details. I just want to test it out more and ensure I think the mod is safe enough for me to continue using it long term--before I share it with others to use.
If you buy to mod like this, be sure to get the 2025 AMD version, as the 2026 model is not cable of this due to gsync conflict currently (maybe find bypass in the future?). You can buy the 2026 AMD Ryzen XMG Neo 16 here: https://tidd.ly/440yxUZ
