John Carpenter's The Fog has been on my horror watchlist for far too long, and I finally sat down to experience this classic ghost story.
Going into the film I'd heard so many people describe it as slow... but honestly, I never found myself bored. Instead, I was pulled in by the eerie atmosphere, creepy mystery and that unmistakable John Carpenter synth score.
In this spoiler-free review, I share my thoughts on The Fog (1980), what surprised me, and why I think it's still worth watching today.
