Did you know the first Korean Costco
opened in 1994 in Seoul (Yangpyeong District) as a price club? And in this video we're visiting it! For Canada, Costco first opened in British Columbia (Burnaby) in 1985.
In this reel it was the first time we got to flex our global membership by using it at a Korean Costco. It was interesting to see the different varieties of items that they sell but still keep the classic Kirkland products. What's fascinating about our visit is our experience with their food court. We tried all their menu items that we've never heard of in Canada: Bulgogi Pizza, Pork Calzone, Pork Bake, Strawberry Latte, and Mushroom Soup.
Honest review, none of the food stood out to us. The only favorite was the bulgogi pizza. At Canadian Costco's our favourites are the Montreal Smoked Meat Sandwich, and the Poutine 🤤
