Sometimes you don’t realize how much you need to step away until you finally do.
In this vlog, my daughters and I took a much-needed mother-daughter trip to Washington, DC, and honestly, it turned into such a beautiful memory for all of us.
We took Amtrak to DC, stayed at the beautiful Conrad Hotel, explored the Lincoln Memorial, Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial, and the Washington Monument, enjoyed dinner at Clyde’s, and spent hours at the National Museum of African American History and Culture.
This trip reminded me how important it is to slow down, make memories, and enjoy the people you love while you can.
