Right now it feels like every fitness YouTuber is building massive home gyms worth thousands—and sometimes even millions—of dollars. But I don't have the space or the money.
I live in a one-bedroom apartment, and the only spare space I have is my kitchen pantry.
The problem? My pantry is just 5½ feet wide by 7 feet 10 inches long, and right now it's nothing more than a glorified storage closet packed with random household junk.
So I decided to take on a challenge:
Can I transform this tiny pantry into a fully functional home gym where I can perform a complete full-body workout without compromising on exercises or weight?
But functionality isn't enough.
I don't want to simply cram equipment into a tiny room and call it a gym. I want this space to actually feel like a premium training environment. Somehow, I'm going to try and make it feel like a luxury gym you'd actually want to spend time in. Even if I have no windows or natural light.
And finally, I'm attempting to do all of this on a budget...
Although, if I'm being completely honest, this rule gets a little questionable along the way. As one piece of equipment was gifted for the project, and it has a pretty big impact on the final result.
So the question is: Can a 5½' x 7'10" pantry become the world's smallest home gym? Well I've invited 4 judges to give me a final score and if I pass I'll be submitting this gym for a Guinness world record.
