RESULTS
My total cholesterol dropped from 272 to 205. My LDL—the "bad" cholesterol—fell from 172 to 112. Even more impressive, my triglycerides were cut in half, dropping from 151 to 73. My HDL—the "good" cholesterol—actually increased from 70 to 80. All of that happened in only one month without medication. Those numbers reinforced something I truly believe: when you consistently make better choices, your body can respond in incredible ways. The biggest surprise wasn't even the blood work—it was how I felt. My energy skyrocketed, I wasn't constantly hungry anymore, and I accidentally leaned out and lost body fat without trying to diet for aesthetics. Looking better became a side effect of improving my metabolic health rather than the primary goal.
RUMORS
I also want to address one rumor that kept showing up in the comments. A lot of people assumed my physique meant I had started TRT or some type of performance-enhancing drug. That's simply not true. I've been training consistently since I was 12 years old and have always competed naturally. The physique people see today is the result of decades of consistency—not shortcuts. One of my favorite discoveries has been replacing dessert with homemade protein ice cream made with the Ninja Creami. Almond milk, protein powder, PB2, and monk fruit create something that satisfies my sweet tooth without wrecking my progress. It's one of those swaps that make this feel like a lifestyle rather than a restrictive diet.
REPLACEMENTS & REVISIONS
My nutrition is actually pretty simple. I'm eating around 2,200 calories per day with approximately 206 grams of protein, 151 grams of carbohydrates, 79 grams of fat, and nearly 50 grams of fiber. The high protein helps preserve muscle while I'm eating fewer calories, and the fiber has become one of the biggest keys to the entire process. One habit that made a surprisingly big difference was taking psyllium husk twice a day. It's not glamorous—I literally mix it with water and drink it before it turns into sludge—but increasing my fiber intake appears to have helped stabilize my blood sugar and support healthier cholesterol levels. Sometimes the simplest habits produce the biggest returns.
Breakfast has become incredibly consistent. I start with psyllium husk, then eat six egg whites with one whole egg, half an avocado, and a bowl of oatmeal mixed with protein powder, PB2, and monk fruit sweetener. It's high in protein, full of healthy fats, and keeps me satisfied for hours. Lunch is equally straightforward: grilled chicken breast, half of a sweet potato, and a handful of raw cashews. For dinner, I always start with a green salad dressed with olive oil and vinegar before eating barley, sweet potato, and avocado, with either chicken or lean ground turkey. One of the biggest lessons I learned from The Glucose Revolution is that the order you eat your food matters. Starting with fiber, followed by protein and healthy fats, helps blunt blood sugar spikes and keeps insulin levels much more stable throughout the day.
I've also changed my exercise routine slightly. Instead of doing cardio twice a day, I've scaled back to running four days a week and replaced the other sessions with outdoor walks. Since I've already lost enough body fat, my goal now is to increase my calorie intake a bit while maintaining the healthier eating habits I've developed. The biggest lesson from this experience is that health isn't just about counting calories anymore. Timing matters, food quality matters, and the order you eat your meals matters. Prioritizing fiber, healthy fats, whole foods, and stable blood sugar has completely changed the way I think about nutrition. I'm excited to see what the next few months bring, but regardless of what happens next, these changes aren't temporary—they've become my new lifestyle. Because at the end of the day, your health truly is your greatest asset, and taking control of it is one of the best investments you'll ever make.
