Hiiiii...here I show you how I style my hair with a flat iron! People often think that a flat iron can only be used as a straightener, you can use a flat iron to wave and curl you hair quite easily. In this video, I will show you how, as well as give you my thoughts on the Irresistible Me Black Diamond Flat Iron which I am using here for the first time!
As I showed in the video, how to curl you hair with a flatiron is easy. To recap: holding the iron at an angle, and grab an inch or two of hair between the clamps, and turn it away from your face to create the first bend. Then, gently slide (no need to pull!) the flatiron down the section of hair before twirling the iron away from your face again.
Continue until you reach the end of you hair, and you can run your fingers through your curls to make them looser and more like beach wave curls. Remember, the slower you glide the flat iron through your hair, the tighter the curl! Conversely, for looser beach wave type hair, move the straightener through your hair more quickly.
