Sometimes we might want to make a tool just because we want the challenge or simply because we can.
Generally, in this case, large sliding bevels are not conveniently available when we need one.
Paul has always made his own, and it is a great project that's simple and enjoyable to make. He made this one in just over half an hour from scrap of oak.
It is a lifetime tool that's great to make and use.
