Want your AI agent to install and use Android apps for you? This video shows how to connect your AI agent, like Claude or Codex, to BlueStacks Desktop in 3 simple steps. Once it’s connected, just ask, and your agent does the rest. In the demo, the agent opens the Play Store, searches for Spotify, and installs it inside BlueStacks Desktop.
BlueStacks Desktop brings Android 16 to PC. BlueStacks is the only emulator and platform on the latest Android version.
What you need:
→ A Windows PC, with your AI agent installed on the same PC
→ Claude: a Pro plan or higher, with Cowork
→ Codex: included with ChatGPT plans
Pick one agent. Other AI agents that support skills work too.
Steps:
1. Go to bluestacksdesktop.com, download and install BlueStacks Desktop, then download the AI agent skill (SKILL.md) and save it somewhere easy to find, like Downloads
2. Open BlueStacks Desktop, go to Settings → Advanced, turn on ADB, and click Save changes
3. Open your AI agent, attach the skill file, and send “Install this skill”. In Claude, use a Cowork chat with access to your PC. In Codex, the steps are the same
Keep BlueStacks Desktop open while you use your agent.
Note: BlueStacks recommends turning ADB off after you’re done, since leaving it on can compromise your system’s security.
