Teagan Scott could hit a line drive. That was the problem. His swing was built to put the ball in play and nothing more, so when he needed to do damage, there was nowhere to go.
Part of the issue was attack angle, and part of the issue was that he was setting his posture too late, diving in and then trying to recover. Rebuilding that took a year and it felt worse before it felt better.
Now he gets jammed and still has time to put it over the fence.
