No cliff. No stunt. Just compositing.
Here’s the workflow I used:
• Export a still from the locked shot
• Slightly enhance it with AI
• Remove the subject to create a clean plate
• Use Photoshop Generative Fill to create the cliff
• Composite everything together in After Effects
• Roto the subject so they stay on top of the scene
The final trick was revealing the ground at the last second to sell the impact.
Simple tools. Smart layering. Big illusion.
