Hort 217 Science Self and Society lets you consider how scientific research priorities align with current social issues and projections for the future. We will look at how diverse sectors of society are positively and negatively impacted by science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). We will explore how people become scientists, how research is funded, and how you can engage with science. Whatever your career path, how will STEM affect your life, and how will you engage with science and scientists to solve problems important to you? Join us for some lively discussion!
Offered through Ecampus Fall, Winter, and Spring, or get a head start on the academic year in Summer Session 4
