Description
In an interview with reporters after conceding the Pennsylvania governor's election, Republican Stacy Garrity acknowledged the challenges that plagued her campaign and led to her defeat.
She ended her campaign with a tiny fraction of the war chest built by Democratic Gov. Josh Shapiro, who defeated Garrity Tuesday.
“Certainly, I wish we had more resources come in earlier,” she said. “We did do well after the debate, but that was a little late, Oct. 7, when the, you know, the early voting had already started.”
But it's not clear what Garrity thinks could have gone differently.
She said she was battling a difficult national climate that was “out of my control.”
