Description
Hochschaubahn is a very rare scenic railway roller coaster that has operated at the Wiener Prater in Vienna Austria since 1950. It is one of only six operating examples with a brakeman on board to slow the train so it doesn't leave the track. There are no up-stop wheels. This is also the most 'scenic' of the examples I have ridden with pretty alpine scenery and funny characters around the ride. Video features various off-ride clips and shots of the elaborate alpine theming, filmed during the European Coaster Club's Alpine Adventure trip in July 2025.
