Description
College football just delivered one of the craziest weekends in AP Poll history. Five of the top seven teams went down, eight ranked teams lost overall, and nobody in the new Top 25 stayed put. BYU jumps to No. 2, UCLA continues its climb, Florida is back in the rankings, and we're breaking down where the Balls & Banter Top 25 disagrees with the AP. Meanwhile, Michigan's offense looked lifeless against Penn State until Tommy Carr took over at halftime and sparked three touchdown drives. Has the quarterback competition officially changed? Bryce Underwood handled the situation with class, but Michigan has a major decision ahead of Indiana. In the NFL, J.J. McCarthy nearly pulls off an impossible Giants comeback with 243 passing yards in just 11 minutes, while Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts faces a serious health setback. We also compare the Sporting News NFL Power 10 with our own rankings. Plus, the NBA tips off with some massive storylines, Flames goalie Devin Cooley might be hockey's answer to Fernando Mendoza, and we've got exciting news about the new Balls & Banter website!
