Description
Alan Wake II is another Remedy banger, but much like Control, there are a few design nitpicks that keep it from being my personal GOTY.
I have a few more, like the limited enemy variety, the straightforward design of Saga Anderson's case board, some levels that outstay their welcome, and a few weird story beats (two cops open the door to the morgue, see a corpse of a fellow officer on the floor, and don't acknowledge it at all lol), but the main ones are spotlighted in this video.
That said, the highs of this horror spookstravaganza are SO high that I have to heartily recommend it. Go play Alan Wake II, please. It's more than worth it for Initiation 4. We sing, indeed.
