Trek to this valley has tremendous admirers.The flowers in valley of flowers will start appearing just after the melting of the snow cover and the main flowers found are Brahmakamal, Blue Poppy, Cobra Lily Anemone, Geranium, Marsh Marigold, Prinula etc.
Further, the climb to Govindghat and Hemkund Sahib Ji is a tough and steep one. But, the thrilling climb and adventure will surely give you chills. During your trek, explore the World’s highest Gurudwara “Hemkund Sahib Ji” which lies at a height of 4400 Meter.In addition to its beauty just behind the Gurudwara lies a lake that remains frozen for 6 months. Govind Singh Ji the 10th Guru of the Sikh faith meditated on the bank of this lake during ancient times.
Therefore, the clear Hemkund Lake is serene and peaceful with the Brahma Kamals growing in abundance on the banks.
Day wise Itenary for Hemkund Sahib with valley of flowers tour package :
Day 1:
Pick up from Haridwar and move to Govind Ghat/ Pandukeshvar
Overnite stay in Govind Ghat/Pandukeshvar
Day 2:
Early morning move to pulna village take ghadi for 4 km.reached the starting point of track after 10 km tracking reached Ghanghariya
Overnite stay here.
Day 3:
Get up early morning
Start the journey again towards to Hemkund sahab.
Back to Ghangariya via flower of valley if u want to visit otherwise directly come to Ghanghariya.
DAY 4:
Back to Govindghat/ Pandukeshvar
Overnite stay here .
Day 5:
Drop to Haridwar.
