Video is going viral on social media (twitter, whatsapp, facebook, youtube) by many users and claim that a helicopter and a truck accident happened in Amritsar’s Ratan Singh Chowk area. But actually this video is from Brazil and incident happened in January 21, 2020. This story has been covered by Dailymail and as per them, this accident happened in Rio Branco city of Brazil.
The report had stated that a passing truck crashed with the blades of a police helicopter, which was readying to take off from a road in a Brazilian city. The footage carried in the report was the same video, which is now being claimed to be from Ratan singh chowk, Amritsar Punjab.
As per fact check video is original but its not from Amritsar.
कल एक व्हिडिओ सोशल मीडिया मे व्हायरल हो रहा था जीसमे एक ट्रक और हेलिकॉप्टर की टक्कर को होते देखा गया था, व्हायरल करणे लॉग इस व्हिडिओ को लेकर ये दावा कर रहे थे की ये घटना पंजाब मे अमृतसर के रतन सिंग चौक मे हुयी है और साथ मे ये भी जोड रहे थे की ऐसा सिर्फ भारत मे हो सकता है.. हम आपको बताना चाहते है की जो व्हिडिओ ट्विटर, फेसबुक, युट्युब, व्हाट्सअप्प पे फॉरवर्ड किया जा रहा है दरअसल वो ब्राजिल के एक शहर रिओ ब्रांसो मे हुयी घटना का है. और ये घटना जनवरी 2020 मे हुयी थी. फॅक्ट चेक मे यही पता चल रहा है की व्हिडिओ तो असली है पर स्थान और समय बिलकुल अलग है.
