Description
🦶Is your lower back unstable and painful? Doctor of Physical Therapy, Karena Wu (IG: https://www.instagram.com/activecarephysicaltherapy/) shows you heel slides — a deep core stability exercise that challenges your spine to stay still while you move your leg.
Here's how to do it:
🛏️ Lie on your back with knees bent and feet hip-width apart.
🌀 Brace your abdominals by pulling your belly button in toward your spine to keep your pelvis and back still.
⬇️ Slowly slide one heel down the floor until your leg is straight.
⬆️ Slowly slide it back up.
🔁 Do 10 reps per side. 2 to 3 sets.
