Description
A tender, soulful, and deeply heartfelt piano interpretation of "Have a Little Faith in Me" by John Hiatt, arranged as an intimate solo piano performance.
Released in 1987 on John Hiatt's album Bring the Family, "Have a Little Faith in Me" has become one of his most enduring and widely covered songs. Built around a beautifully understated piano foundation, the song is a reassuring expression of devotion, trust, patience, and unconditional support. Its message is simple but powerful: when circumstances become difficult and uncertainty takes over, sometimes all a relationship needs is enough faith to keep going. Hiatt's restrained delivery and the song's gospel and soul influences give it a warmth that gradually grows without losing its intimacy. Those qualities make "Have a Little Faith in Me" especially natural for solo piano, where its memorable melody and rich harmonies can remain at the center of the performance. This arrangement uses gentle accompaniment, expressive melodic lines, warm chords, and carefully shaped dynamics to preserve the sincerity and comforting character of the original. Whether you're learning the piece or simply enjoying the music, this piano play-through offers a beautiful way to experience "Have a Little Faith in Me."
