This is my second Mother’s Day, and I wanna take this moment to pop my shii.. I’m really killing this motherhood thing!
My son needs for nothing, wants for nothing, and I have God & myself to thank for that. Every single day, I make sure he is loved, protected, educated, cared for, and exposed to a world bigger than the one I grew up seeing. I’m giving him experiences I never had, and for that, I’m super proud of me!
Sometimes I sit back and look at him in disbelief. Two years old, traveling the world, knowing his colors, shapes, animals, insects, counting to 20, and so much more in both English AND Spanish.. He is a direct reflection of the time, love, sacrifice, and intention I pour into him daily.
I’m grateful that God trusted me with him. God knew every obstacle before I ever faced it, and somehow He still saw me fit to be this little boy’s mommy. That alone lets me know I’m equipped for everything that has happened and everything that is to come.
This year I wanted us to shoot with a low rider not only because he LOVES cars but because me and my son are riding until the wheels fall off. Through every challenge, every lesson, and every beautiful moment… it’s forever me and him.
People can say whatever they want about me, but as long as they say I’m an amazing mother, I’m cool 😎 So when you see my son, just know… that’s ALL ME.
