It's almost Christmas time! Lots of families bring home a new puppy or a new dog for the season. If you are going to bring home a new family member, how about checking out your local rescues for a best friend first? There are so many wonderful dogs and puppies looking for a home; many purebreds too. Some rescues even have programs where you can foster a dog for the Holidays so they don't have to spend the Holiday in the shelter.
