💃 S.O.N.A.R. + Invokyr - Six Friends Run a Submarine on Halloween, Then Go Back Inside the Cursed Board Game
▶️ Halloween night, and one crewmate gets shoved into the torpedo tube and fired out across the ocean floor, still hanging on to the torpedo. Six friends try to run a submarine together: they name it something so rude the game censors it, leave the helm empty while everyone fights over sandwiches in the break room, run over a whale, and lose a whole mission chasing a whale achievement. Graded D, then D again, then somehow S, top of the leaderboard by one second. Then it's back into Invokyr, where the crew gets roped together in pairs, shoots a fake teammate on sight, and finally buys the disco ball. It does not survive the night.
Tonight's activities: S.O.N.A.R. - Submarine Operators Not Actually Ready, a brand-new co-op submarine sim where the crew splits sonar, torpedoes, navigation, the engine room and the kitchen, and settles every argument with a slap, played for five hours instead of the promised two or three. Then INVOKYR, the six-player co-op horror game set inside a living 1970s board game, back for its post-game boards now that the crew has beaten it. SONAR game keys provided by the publisher.
