Glasses Malone & Problem "Off The Porch" Interview
We recently sat down with LA artists Glasses Malone & Problem for an exclusive “Off The Porch” interview! During our conversation they spoke about their roles as consultants on the new FX show The Drop: A Snowfall Saga, a spinoff to the popular Jon Singleton directed Television Show Snow Fall. What started out as both being consultants on the show, Glasses Malone working in the writers room with the writers and giving perspective on the building and rise of Westcoast Hip-Hop and Jason "Problem" Martin writing the raps for all of the rap artist characters on the show turned into both of them receiving acting roles on the show as well. The 2 spoke about the importance of West Coast Hip-Hop being depicted in the series and why this story is important. Problem spoke about his career and influence on West Coast Hip-Hop, why he made the decision to change his name to Jason Martin and his experience working with artists from Wiz Khalifa to Rich Homie Quan and more!
