In this video, I present some introductory concepts relevant to current conversations about why some people are proposing and starting to uses alternatives to gendered language in Spanish they consider to be sexist or exclusive of nonbinary individuals.
The intent of this video is simply to present the information. I am not here to tell you what to think (or what I think) about gender identity or -- much less -- how to speak or write Spanish.
