Pixel Worlds had a huge 2026 update: gems are now untradable, which means players can no longer directly sell fish, mining gems, or Nether Crystals for bytecoins. But does that mean mining, fishing, and Netherworld are dead? Not really.
In this Pixel Worlds guide, I explain how gems are still useful for profit in 2026 by converting them into tradable items through crafting, blueprints, boosters, shop items, pets, and event items. Instead of selling raw gems, the new strategy is using gems to create items that other players actually want on the PWE.
