This, hour long, mini-course takes you through everything you need to play melodic rock lead guitar. We begin with how to map the neck using pentatonic scale - the backbone of most rock lead guitar. We also look at how to enhance the basic pentatonic boxes using chord notes. You'll also learn about effective phrasing... how to group notes together into licks, and how to time those licks for maximum effect. We cover topics such as syncopation, pickup phrases, vocal style phrasing, call & response, and much more. There are 10 study piece solos which should be accessible to anyone with rudimentary lead guitar skills such as bending a string or playing a hammer-on. You can use these solos as a source of licks and ideas to inspire your own lead guitar work. All the solos are tabbed out clearly in both Guitar Pro and PDF formats, and of course... all of the necessary scale diagrams and jam tracks are included.
