Recorded in the immediate aftermath of the October 7 attacks, Mike Kerr sits down with combat veteran, author, and biblical teacher Jamie Walden for an intense discussion about Israel, Jerusalem, and the prophetic significance Jamie believes many people were overlooking.
Drawing from Psalm 83, Isaiah 17, Ezekiel 38–39, Zechariah, and Revelation, Jamie presents his interpretation of how the conflict could connect to a much larger end-times sequence. He examines the mounting pressure surrounding Israel, the possibility of Jerusalem being divided, the rebuilding of the Temple, the rise of a deceptive peace agreement, and the conditions that could prepare the world to receive the Antichrist.
Jamie also draws from his firsthand experience in war zones and ministry, challenging believers not to approach these events through sensationalism, political distraction, or paralyzing fear. While the world may appear to be spinning out of control, he emphasizes that God has not surrendered His authority and Jesus Christ remains firmly seated on the throne.
This conversation ultimately asks a more personal question: How should followers of Christ live when the events they have studied for years appear to be unfolding before them?
The answer is not to panic or retreat. It is to know the Word, obey the commands of Jesus, redeem the time, stand firm, and look up—because our redemption draws near.
