4-month old Everly was found alone, frostbitten, and starving. A concerned community member spotted her at a park and knew right away this puppy desperately needed help. That's when they turned to Animal Humane Society.
Still, even with our extensive experience in animal care, our experts were shocked by Everly's condition. She was severely dehydrated, skeletally thin, and had sores all over her body where her bones jutted against her skin. Her ears were frostbitten from subzero temperatures, and she had even more open wounds on her paws and tail.
Watch her incredible transformation into a playful, happy dog ready for a fresh start. After weeks of healing, gaining strength, and learning what it means to feel safe, Everly found the loving home she deserved.
