Description
MSFS Operation Midnight Hammer. Simulating the full Operation Midnight Hammer mission using Microsoft Flight Simulator. I plotted the exact GPS route, used the B2 Bomber, and tried to be as accurate as possible! I sped up the transatlantic route in the video for time purposes but it's all there. Arma was also used. Also did the aerial refueling!
Operation Midnight Hammer was a coordinated U.S. military mission on June 21–22, 2025 targeting three nuclear-related facilities in Iran: Fordow Uranium Enrichment Plant, Natanz Nuclear Facility, and Isfahan Nuclear Technology Center. The operation was carried out with extreme secrecy and precise coordination across multiple domains — air, sea, and subsurface.
The main strike package included seven Northrop B-2 Spirit stealth bombers, which flew roughly 18 hours from their base in Missouri to Iran, with multiple mid-air refuelings, maintaining minimal communications to preserve surprise. The bombers dropped a set of heavy “bunker-buster” bombs — specifically the GBU-57 Massive Ordnance Penetrator (MOP) — designed to penetrate deep underground and destroy heavily fortified targets.
In addition, a U.S. submarine reportedly fired multiple long-range cruise missiles (e.g. Tomahawk missile) at other strategic infrastructure, supporting the aerial assault.
In total, over 125 aircraft participated across support, refueling, intelligence, escort, and strike missions — making it the largest and most complex B-2-based operation in U.S. history.
