Freedog brings us Season 1 Episode 4 of the Fly Like A Bird series on the In-Flight Division.
We will be departing from the historic Wendover Airport on runway 8, hugging the beautiful mountain range, and then turning around to run the Bonneville Salt Flats, where the notorious raceway once was. Many land speed records were set here over the years.
Wendover Airport holds a special place in history. During World War II, it served as a training base for the Enola Gay crew, the B-29 bomber that dropped the atomic bomb on Hiroshima. Its role in the Manhattan Project forever etched its name into history.
