When Will Guidara and @TheWelcomeConference team invite you to be part of their extraordinary summit celebration around the idea of hospitality, you say: “Yes, please!” The 2025 event featured inspiring entrepreneurs like Jenny Nguyen (founder of the Sports Bra), actor and producer Tony Hale, restaurateur/artist Shamil Thakar (founder of Dishoom), Banana Ball’s Jesse Cole, entrepreneur and author Fawn Weaver and so many more, including us! Attendees defined and, for us, redefined who are the hospitality industry - even funeral directors who specialize in dead presidents were in the room! The care with which Will, Anthony and their team treated us presenters is difficult to describe - they were forensic in making sure we were comfortable, and set up beautiful ways for all of us to connect with one another. In a very short time, lifelong friendships were forged. In a world under constant pressure, they pressed the relief valve over and over again, walking the talk behind their ideas of hospitality. It was a master class.
Once we hit the stage to close out the day of great presenters, everyone in the audience was primed and ready to make one more beautiful moment happen. We taught parts to Coldplay’s "Fix You" after we warmed up the crowd and they hit it out of the park. This is what happens when people are given the proper space and care and inspiration to succeed.
