Florida bridge and shore fishing with live shrimp in Southwest Florida turned into one of those days where anything could happen.
I set out with four dozen live shrimp and used an e-bike to move between multiple bridges and shoreline spots around the Siesta Key area, covering water and seeing what each location had to offer. Some spots were quiet, others fired up fast, and a few delivered the kind of action that reminds you why live shrimp is one of the best baits you can use in Florida.
From sheepshead feeding on bridge pilings to mangrove snapper and other surprise catches, this was a full day of spot hopping, adapting, and enjoying the process. It all wrapped up with a fresh catch and cook featuring a mixed bag of fish from the day.
