Hey everyone Yvette here also known as @disneylandmermaid on instagram. In today's vlog I went to Drag Con for the very first time. I've been a long time Drag Race fan since season 1 and have never had the opportunity to meet the queens. If you would love to meet your favorite drag race queens I definitely reccomend going. The only thing is you might have to go all weekend because the lines are all an hour to 5 hours long depending on the queen. Most of the queens have a meet and greet fee so take LOTS OF CASH. Also there are tons of vendors that sell drag race merch from clothes to wigs to makeup. I don't feel like I made the most of my time because I only got to check out one of the panels, spent most of my time shopping and only met a handful of queens. However, I think having events like this is important we need to create more safe spaces for the queer community. I had a blast and definitely plan on going the entire weekend next time.
