First Mainstage Festival Headline with my own Chaos + Peace Band Project. This is a small spontaneous moment from the intro freeflow song called 'Atmopshere' and I love to be surprised everytime by what we conjure up together as a group, especially in the intro.
I like to leave it totally open and to start the show with pure improvisation, letting each of us step out into the unknown, flowing with the Spirit and getting in sync with each other. This is indeed what real art is all about. Pioneering into untramelled ground and taming the unknown. It requires bravery and an alertness, and most importantly, a deep sense of listening to each other. Something that sometimes get totally missed in well rehearsed pieces.
Thank you for the wondeful musicians that played with me, and thanks to Kunst to go & Cords Stiftung for inviting us to headline the final evening of this 2 week long festival in the Hammer park in Hamburg.
Felt great to return to Hamburg and play the 7th Chaos + Peace Show.
And to the wonderful audience, I loved that you stayed and danced in the rain with us till the last song! My heart was captured by your hunger and love!
