In the penultimate episode of Fionna & Cake's first season, Golb turns the Lich into a green polycube and sends Simon’s consciousness into Shermy’s head. Beth the Pup Princess helps the manically sad antiquarian level up his hindsight via a certain book, but going to the library in The Land of Ooo is much more dangerous 1000+ years in the future! While Dr. Petrikov’s mind is away, his big red four-eyed ex-girlfriend Golbetty zaps Scrabby into multiple smaller selves. Fionna is joined by Gary Prince, Marshall Lee, and Hunter to capture the Scrabbies (though Cake does most of the work). Ellis P never got the memo about the god auditor, though, and sets him free.
