Finally! Propane Fire Pit that Feels like a Wood Camp Fire.

Iron Ridge Outdoors Guide 11 months ago

Description

Camping in the Oregon summers generally means you'll be in a burn ban. Store bought propane camp fires are a joke, specially on those chilly mountain nights. Now, staying warm is not an issue, and the large fire box on this pit can comfortably heat 8-10 people.

My goal was to create a propane fire pit that radiates heat like a real wood burning camp fire. This one, without a doubt, puts out some serious heat! It was a hit at our campsite this year, the envy of other campers, and will definitely be a staple at future gatherings. Right now, it's on our back porch and is a joy to have on these late summer evenings when burning wood is simply not a safe option. If you have any specific or technical questions about how to build a propane camp fire, leave a comment, and I'll respond.
