Description
Remember Final Fantasy? No, not Final Fantasy XIV (which came out on Switch 2 earlier in 2026). No, not Final Fantasy VII Remake. Or Rebirth. Those also came out on Switch 2 this year. But remember Final Fantasy from the 1990s? Or maybe you played games in the series from the '90s because the '90s were like, frighteningly long ago to the person writing this description. Anyway, Square Enix basically just made a new one of the Super Nintendo-era Final Fantasy games. It's super rad. It's based off the mobile game Final Fantasy Brave Exvius but don't let that deter. It's a full-on rethink of that mobile game for a console.
Btw it's also on Switch 1. We reviewed the Switch 2 version. But just play this game. There's a big demo of the opening of the game. It's good.
